We’ve had the privilege of working with two wonderful local companies on The Phóinīx Project; River Raider Off-Road, located on Rockhill Road in Chambersburg, and Double Shutter Photography, located in Waynesboro, PA.
The Phóinīx Project involves the restoration and overhaul of a Jeep that was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Just a few weeks ago, with the help of many various sponsors, the team at River Raider began restoration and complete overhaul of the vehicle. I’ve seen the conceptual renderings of this Jeep and I can assure you it’s going to be a beast.
The goal is to have the project complete in just a couple weeks for The Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. We’ve had the lucky task of documenting the process from the beginning and here’s a short trailer to get you ready. Click above to watch or find it on YouTube HERE. Stay tuned for the full length version coming soon!
