Wedding Highlights: Ashley + Robby

Getting married on Cinco de Mayo could not have been any more appropriate for this fun loving couple. Ashley and Robby were married May 5, 2012 at St Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg followed by a Cinco de Mayo celebration that will always be remembered.

Already super excited about working with this couple, I knew this was going to be a fun day. Upon arrival at the bride’s home, I met ‘The Dad’, ‘The Dog’ and ‘The Duck’. It was at that point I knew we were in for a real adventure. And what an awesome adventure it was.

After all the hair and makeup was done, the cooler was packed and we were ‘all aboard’ the wedding party trolley. First stop – St Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg for a very beautiful, classic wedding ceremony. After the bride and groom were celebrated by guests with noise makers and horns, we were off again to make our way to the reception, held at The Barn at Springfield Farm in Williamsport, MD.

This was our first time at ‘The Barn’. We heard from a photographer friend who had shot there before, that it was a beautiful place (and it certainly was) but the lighting was also very low. And where lighting is a concern for a photographer, it’s an even bigger concern for a videographer. But with our fleet of cameras and Brad’s expertise in getting the settings just right, our equipment came through for us with flying colors. We were able to get some great footage of the entire day (and night).

The finished product is a full length DVD (and when I say full length, I mean there was no room for another second of footage) complete with customized on-screen menus, chapters including fully edited pre-ceremony, ceremony, reception footage, a highlight music video and highly entertaining dance/party montage. All neatly packaged in a customized DVD case.

We truly enjoyed getting to work with this sweet couple and hope they will enjoy the captured memories for the rest of their lives. You have to check out their highlight music video above.
